Photos and beauty analysis
A selected photo is decoded and analyzed locally in your browser to estimate visible color balance, lighting, contrast and broad facial proportions. The photo and its pixel data are not uploaded to or stored by K Beauty Companion. No faceprint or biometric identity template is created. Refreshing or closing the page clears the photo and its preview. See the dedicated photo privacy page for a plain-language explanation.
Preferences and basic website data
Your browser stores selected language, shopping country, beauty goal and saved-item choices on your device so they remain available on a later visit. Our hosting and security providers may also process technical data such as IP address, browser type, requested page, time and error information to deliver and protect the site. We do not currently offer visitor accounts or ask for payment information on this website.
Retailer and affiliate links
When you open a retailer link, the destination merchant and affiliate network may receive referral information and apply their own cookies or tracking under their own privacy policies. Review the destination site’s policy and consent controls before purchasing.
Your choices
You may avoid photo analysis, clear saved preferences through your browser controls, decline nonessential cookies offered by third parties and open merchant sites directly. Accounts and community features
The current site does not require or offer visitor accounts, public profiles, comments or direct messages. We will publish updated terms, consent choices, retention periods and moderation rules before introducing any of those features.
Changes
We will update this page when data practices change, including before adding server-side image analysis, accounts, newsletters, community features or direct checkout. Material changes will be identified by a revised date.
