What happens to your selfie
Your photo stays in your browser. K Beauty Companion does not receive, upload or store it when you use the current beauty analysis.
Analysis happens on your device
Your browser reads a reduced set of visible pixel values to estimate color balance, lighting, contrast and broad facial proportions. The analysis runs in the page on your device rather than sending the image to a K Beauty Companion server.
No faceprint or identity recognition
The feature does not identify who you are, compare you with other people or create a biometric identity template. Its results are cosmetic style suggestions, not identity verification, medical analysis or a permanent profile.
The photo is not retained
The selected image and makeup preview exist temporarily in your browser memory. Closing or refreshing the page clears them. Device preferences such as language, shopping country and saved product hearts can remain in local browser storage, but that preference record does not contain your photo.
You stay in control
You can browse products without selecting a photo and without creating an account. Only use a photo of yourself or one you have permission to use. If a future version introduces accounts, cloud analysis or photo storage, it will require an updated notice before that feature is enabled.
